I am about halfway through the reading of an inspiring book by a worthy spiritual mentor, my pastor Jentzen Franklin. I wanted to share a segment that really hit home with me. It’s important that you have an Internet Marketing strategy and develop a proven way to earn money at home. The quickest way to do this is to have a mentor or coach, someone who has been there and done that will show you how to do it too.

Seriously, you can not blame products or services, forums or tools. You have to look at yourself first and ask yourself what it is that you are doing to attract leads for instance.

You should also consider how you use your phone and how often you need to get in touch with other people. This will help you to choose the best option for you. For example, lots of people work from home nowadays, which means that a significant percentage of them end up needing to make work calls as well as personal ones.

This is another great method of getting your search engine recognition. When the spiders find your links, they will follow them to your pages, and these are like popularity votes for your web site. The search engine considers your web site to be more popular so they raise you in the rankings, all of that stems from a Twitter account.

And I have to ask how many times have we heard “print is dead?” If it were dead, then there must be zombies filling up the bottom of my mailbox with local papers. Do I read them? I wish I could say I do. It’s not that I wouldn’t love the luxury of stopping long enough to see what my local community is up to. I unfortunately don’t take the time. Simply put, ads keep publications running. If advertisers weren’t seeing results, then they wouldn’t advertise. Print still works.

Who is your ideal lead and how do you reach them? Create a profile for your best customer(s). This should include things such as age, gender, hobbies, job function, how do they shop (online or at stores), where do they shop, what they read, website do they visit, etc.

Take it from someone who tends to learn things “the hard way” (me), you need to really sit down and self-analyze, and decide if you are in this for the money…or in it to win it.
